Tips for a well-paced service
- Most memorial services last 30 to 60 minutes. Graveside services are usually 15 to 30.
- Give each speaker a time limit and ask them to share their remarks with the officiant beforehand.
- Alternate words and music so the service has room to breathe.
- Share the printed outline with the officiant, speakers, musicians and whoever runs the audio or slideshow.
