Read guideBefore you buy anything
- You have the right to buy elsewhere. Under the FTC Funeral Rule, a funeral home must accept a casket or urn you bought from another seller and can't charge a fee for using it.
- Check requirements first. Cemeteries may require an urn vault; niches have fixed interior dimensions; scattering and water burial call for biodegradable materials.
- Allow for delivery time. If you need an item for a service date, confirm delivery before ordering. The crematory's temporary container is fine in the meantime.
